I live in Norway, and I feel incredibly fortunate to rely on a health system that provides such a strong safety net. Having that support is something I truly value. However, throughout my journey with diabetes, I have experienced a significant gap: the system primarily offers dietary advice based strictly on official health guidelines.
The Turning Point For me, at least, these standard recommendations proved to be highly inefficient. I found myself constantly struggling with unstable blood sugar levels, a slow metabolism, and a chronic lack of energy. When you add the challenges of maintaining a consistent exercise routine and the battle for quality sleep, I realized that the "standard" path wasn't leading me toward the health I deserved.
Searching for a Better Way Driven by the need for change, I began researching how a low-carb lifestyle could specifically address the unique intersection of diabetes and metabolic health. I discovered that by moving away from traditional advice and focusing on metabolic-friendly choices, I could finally start working with my body instead of against it.
My Mission This website is a space where I share my personal journey, insights, and the knowledge I’ve gathered along the way. My goal is to support and inspire others who feel that the "one-size-fits-all" approach isn't enough.
